After purchasing an apartment seated above the horizon, the owners lived with partial functionality for many years due to an aging Creston system. The client seeked to reimagine their control system and explore automated window treatments to showcase the breath-taking skyline.

One-touch scenes adjust every blind for the best moviegoing or sightseeing experience. And due to the apartment facing toward the sun, we utilized state-of-the-art shades to minimize glare, even in an open entertainment center surrounded by glass.

By updating the original interfaces with touchscreen panels, the owners can adjust the blinds, set the temperature, and start their favorite playlist throughout the apartment with ease.

Taking advantage of the existing wiring infrastructure and applying wireless technologies minimized labor during the remodel. Thoughtful integration methods allowed us to keep the home’s Crestron lighting system while still delivering a seamless control experience.
