Course Information

Proper Planning for Residential Electronic Systems

What is required to incorporate an electronic system before construction?

About this course

Similar to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades, electronic systems should be planned well in advance of construction and documented at the construction drawing phase of design. This course describes the processes used by professionals in the project planning, design, and installation phases of electronic systems.

Additionally, the different types of residential systems will be identified as well as the unique impact of each on specific design considerations, such as space, framing, electrical, and ventilation requirements. The benefits of working with a trained electronic systems professional will also be analyzed.
